Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect on the website bosko.lt, why we collect them and what rights you have. We process data according to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect

We only collect data when you provide it to us by filling out a form. You don't need to create any accounts to browse the site.

Prayer requests

We collect: name, e-mail postal address chosen by St. Mass date and time, prayers intent and your choice whether the request is private or public more widely in the parish community.

Prayer requests are not posted publicly on the website. Only parishes can see them staff and priests who pray for your intention.

Registration for sacraments

We collect: first name, last name, e-mail email address, phone number and your message, yes no matter which sacrament you register for.

Summer camp registration

We collect the name, surname, e-mail address of the father or guardian. e-mail address and phone number, child's name, surname and e-mail mail, allergy information and your message.

We only collect information about allergies to ensure that you are safe during the camp child safety and proper nutrition. It is visible only to the persons responsible for the camp.

Victims

Card donations are handled by Stripe. The card data never reaches us site and we don't see them. We only receive information about the fact that the victim executed and its amount.

When donating by bank transfer or through Revolut, the data is processed by your bank — only us we provide our account details.

Special category data

Part of the data we collect is considered special category data by the GDPR, which are subject to increased protection:

  • Religious beliefs. Prayer request or registration for sacraments reveals your religious beliefs by itself.
  • Health data. Information about the child's allergies in the camp form.

We process this data only after receiving your explicit consent which you give by knowingly filling out and submitting the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@bosko.lt.

Legal basis

We process data based on your consent (GDPR Article 6 d. 1 point a, o in the case of special categories of data — Article 9. 2 d. point a). You give consent by submitting the form and you can cancel it at any time.

To whom we transfer data

We do not sell or transfer data for advertising purposes. We only use with the following services:

  • Google Workspace (Google Sheets) — answers to the forms go to the parish table.
  • Stripe — management of donations by card.
  • Vercel — website hosting and technical server logs.
  • Google Maps — map on the contact page.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area take place on the basis of the European Commission approved standard contract conditions.

How long we store

  • Prayer requests — up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Registration for the sacraments — while preparation for the sacrament and one year after it.
  • Camp registrations — until the end of the camp and one year after it. Information about allergies is deleted immediately after the camp.
  • Records of donations — as much as required by Lithuanian accounting legislation.

Cookies

This website does not use any of its own cookies and does not collect visitor statistics. We do not use Google Analytics or other tracking tools, therefore cookie consent you won't see the bar.

The only exception is the Google Maps map on the contact page. After opening it Google can save its cookies and see your IP address. If you don't want that, just don't open the contact page or block third-party cookies in your browser.

Our website server (Vercel) temporarily stores login details logs, including IP address — these are necessary for the security and operation of the website ensure

Children's data

We collect children's data only in the camp registration form, which is filled out by parents or guardians. Children do not fill out the forms themselves.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • familiarize with your data;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
  • restrict data processing;
  • transfer data to another controller;
  • disagree with data processing;
  • withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@bosko.lt. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe that we are not handling your data properly, please write to us first — we will try to solve everything. You also have the right to file a complaint with State data protection inspectorate (L. Sapiegos st. 17, Vilnius, ada.lt).

Changes

When we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of the page. Substantial changes we will announce it in the website news.
